Editor's Note: Frank Lowenstein and several other Switzer Fellows joined thousands of environmentalists on and around Washington's National Mall on Sunday for the Forward on Climate Rally, encouraging President Barack Obama to take strong measures against climate change.  What follows are Frank's impressions of the event and an audio file of a voicemail he left for Switzer staff from the rally.

I recently posted a summary of the results and trends from our Annual survey of Fellows to the Switzer blog. This survey and the Foundation’s interest in updating our goals and strategies to meet our 20 year Vision have inspired us to use the ongoing feedback to inform our work in new ways. For the last four years, the Switzer Foundation has surveyed Fellows who are 5,10,15,20 and 25 years out from their Fellowship year. This annual survey allows us to get an annual snapshot of Fellows’ accomplishments, challenges, employment trends and feedback/suggestions for our offerings. As we set out to update our goals to meet our 20 year vision, this seems like a good time to use this data to solicit specific guidance and feedback from ALL of you.  The Vision that the Foundation set five years ago is:
