Switzer Network Innovation Grants - RFP

Fellows:

At this time of fall retreats, welcoming new Fellows into the fold and preparing for our annual program cycle, I have been reflecting on the recent 25th anniversary of the Switzer Foundation and our commitment to fostering innovation, leadership and collaboration through the Switzer Fellowship Network.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Foundation, I have a personal request and an offer for each of you –

The request – PLEASE consider participating in (at least) ONE Network activity this year – attend a retreat, sign up for a webinar, host a gathering of Fellows in your area, update your Fellow profile on the website, or contribute a post!  Stay tuned for a new series of webinars and video reports on a variety of issues highlighting Switzer Fellows in leadership roles.

In this same spirit, we have an OFFER – To truly support the kind of innovation and cross-disciplinary problem-solving the Switzer Fellowship Network is capable of, we are releasing a SPECIAL Request for Proposals (attached) to foster innovation and collaboration among members of the Network.  Please review the RFP attached. The aim is to catalyze innovation and the potential for collective impact through these grants.  We hope this RFP will encourage your creativity and catalyze connections to make a difference. Please review and let me or the trustees listed on the RFP know if you have any ideas to discuss and develop along with us. The guidelines for the RFP are general in order to give you flexibility in thinking about how YOU would use the Network to achieve your goal or vision for positive change.  We are especially interested in ideas and actions that can form the basis for a spring retreat or study tour.  I look forward to hearing from you!
