About Andrew's Work
Andrew is currently a Policy Analyst in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions, which is responsible for expanding the commercial impact and public benefit of DOE's RDD&D portfolio to advance the economic, energy, and national security interests of the nation. Prior to this, he held a variety of positions with United Technologies Corp. (now Raytheon Technologies). This included 11 years at United Technologies Research Center, where he led market studies, commercialization plans, and technology scouting around emerging clean energy solutions, innovative HVAC products, and energy efficiency measures. He also worked on the Innovation Business Development team to identify and evaluate opportunities to license the corporation’s intellectual property in adjacent markets. Before joining United Technologies, Andrew worked as an environmental engineering consultant, managing projects for site remediation, regulatory compliance, permitting, and hydrologic analysis.
