About Anne's Work
Anne Short is an Assistant Professor of Sustainability Sciences at Boston University. Her research and teaching explore the interactions between humans and the environment and the institutions that shape those relationships. Her dissertation research addressed the challenges of rural land-use change and nonpoint source pollution on private lands in the rural United States. She also has worked on sustainability indicators, urban food security, the science-policy interface, and urban environmental education.
