About Bradford's Work
Brad directs the Alaska office of The Conservation Fund, focusing on land acquisition and habitat protection. In 1995 and 1996, The Conservation Fund was instrumental in the addition of 300,000 acres of brown bear habitat to the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. Brad is dedicated to defending Alaska's wildlands from the ravages which have consumed much of the United States. He remains committed to the ecological recovery of New England and continues to work on the Wildlands Project, a North American Wilderness Recovery Strategy.
