About Carol's Work
After completing her MS, Carol spent 17 years with the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, primarily as Wildlife Programs Director. Her present research involves development of field techniques to provide an index to nesting success and effects of partial cutting in spruce-fir forests on breeding bird communities. She is currently a consulting biologist to the Audubon Society of New Hampshire and a member of the American Ornithologists Union and The Wildlife Society. Carol plans to continue her work in field research and policy formation in the Northern Forest of New England and to participate in international field research efforts in boreal forests elsewhere in the northern hemisphere.
