About Cathy's Work

Cathy Ross is an independent consultant with extensive experience leading programs and operations in organizations dedicated to human rights, community development, environmental sustainability, and democratic governance. She previously held leadership roles at Open Society Foundations in the Latin America Program, and at Oxfam America, where she led the Amazon Program, focused on indigenous land rights, resource management initiatives, and strengthening indigenous peoples’ organizations. Additionally, she collaborated with faculty at the Harvard Business School to research and write cases for the MBA and Executive Education curricula. As a consultant, she has conducted program evaluations and advises organizations on program design, operations, and change management.
