About Daniel's Work
Daniel Gonzalez is a proud first-generation student from Santa Ana, California, who left home in pursuit of education and a brighter future. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry, with minors in mathematics and physics, from Washington College in 2020. It was during his undergraduate years that Daniel's passion for scientific inquiry and environmental issues took root, leading him to delve deeper into the field of atmospheric processes. Building upon his strong academic foundation, Daniel is now pursuing a PhD in the atmospheric processes laboratory at the University of California, Riverside, where he continues to make significant contributions to the study of aerosol behavior and its impact on air quality. His journey as a first-generation student has shaped his determination to excel in his field and drive positive change for the environment and disadvantaged communities.
