Dave Switzer

Dave Switzer has been passionate about the environment since the early 80s. As time has passed he has become more focused on environmental leadership and communication as primary concerns. He believes that positive environmental change and thoughtful stewardship of the Earth are the preeminent issues of modern times. Dave has been teaching and managing teaching teams for the last 15 years focusing on inter-cultural communication, environmental communication, and environmental history. He has lived in China, Germany and a number of cities in the U.S. Prior to serving on the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Dave participated in a number of volunteer organizations related to environment and social justice. He has a Masters in Information Technology from Regis University, Denver and a double Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology, from Colorado State University.
