About David's Work
Dr. David Gonzalez is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Division of Cardiology at the David Geffen School Medicine at UCLA. His current research investigates the impact of air pollution and e-cigarette exposure on lung inflammation, systemic oxidative stress, and atherosclerosis.
He has a B.S. in chemistry and a MS/Ph.D. in atmospheric and oceanic sciences all from UCLA. His PhD research specialized in atmospheric chemistry and investigated the mechanisms of free radical production from ambient particles extracted in simulated and human lung fluids.
