DEI In Practice: The Wilderness Society & Chesapeake Bay Foundation

-
Location: Online
Fellow(s): Clara Fang

Since 1935, The Wilderness Society has led the effort to permanently protect nearly 112 million acres of wilderness in 44 states. Its 2023 DEI Report is a testament to its collective effort since 2017 to infuse equity into everything we do and to advocate for policy solutions that amplify diverse voices in the ever-changing conservation movement.

Founded in 1966, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the Bay. CBF is committed to intentionally increasing diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our own organization and throughout the Chesapeake Bay restoration effort.

Join Oasis: A Green Equity Collective in a conversation with these two DEI leaders on how they are leading their organization’s efforts on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. This event is hosted by Oasis (founded by Switzer Fellow Clara Fang) and sponsored by the Switzer Foundation. Switzer Fellows can register for free!
