Amy Rogers Wins Bacardi Conservation Award
Amy Rogers, 2005 Fellow and research fellow at the Pinchot Institute for Conservation based in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, won this year's Luis F. Bacardi Advances in Tropical Conservation Award at the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation conference in Bali, Indonesia. This award is given to a young post-doc researcher for the outstanding conservation-related talk at the conference. Amy presented her research on forest succession in tropical secondary forests.
