Baum named 2013 LEED Fellow

HOK Healthcare Sustainable Design Leader Mara Baum, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been selected to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Fellows Class of 2013. 

Baum oversees sustainability implementation, research, consulting and education across HOK’s global healthcare practice.

Baum has an extensive LEED project portfolio, with several dozen significant LEED projects ranging in size from a few thousand square feet to more than 2 million square feet. Her current projects include 17 buildings on four campuses totaling 5 million square feet. These projects include the 1 million-sq.-ft. Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center Replacement in Kaiserslautern, Germany; the 1.3 million-sq.-ft. Wishard Health Services Eskenazi Hospital Campus in Indianapolis; the Kaiser Redwood City Hospital in Calif.; and the 220,000-sq.-ft. Ventura County Medical Center Hospital Replacement Wing in Ventura, Calif. She also provides technical support to HOK project teams in offices worldwide.
