Chiang hired as San Francisco Senior Commercial Toxics Reduction Coordinator
After 18 years at the Center for Environmental Health, Sue Chiang started a new position with the San Francisco Environment Department as Senior Commercial Toxics Reduction Coordinator.
Sue has worked throughout her career on reducing and eliminating people’s exposure to toxic chemicals through a variety of approaches and strategies. A focus of her most recent work has been on eliminating toxic chemicals from food-contact products and shifting the market towards safer chemistry. CEH has been working to bring back environmentally preferable reusables, especially in K12 schools across the country.
We are excited to see what this new role brings for Sue’s work in reducing toxic exposure!
