Healy Hamilton on the Fate of Plant and Animal Species Under Climate Change

Healy Hamilton, 1991 Fellow and Director of the Center for Applied Biodiversity Informatics at the California Academy of Sciences, was featured recently in Wired Magazine and was a speaker at the Commonwealth Club of California.  In both venues, Healy talked about her work researching the fate of biodiversity on plant and animal species in a changing climate.  Healy spoke at the Commonwealth Club on September 28, 2010, with a talk entitled, "Climate Change Effects on Animal and Plant Species:  Conservation Corridors."  Healy was also featured in Women's Adventure Magazine back in March, 2010 talking about her work in biodiversity and how she was motivated to take the career path she chose.
