Leaders from the front lines of sustainable healthcare design and operations will provide a view into the future of high-performance healing environments, discussing LEED for Healthcare, the 2030 Challenge, and other relevant frameworks as a means for significantly raising the bar for energy and environmental performance in hospital facilities. From 8:30 to 10 a.m., HOK Healthcare Sustainable Design Leader Mara Baum will participate the “Raising the Bar in the Healthcare Sector: Diagnosing What’s Next” panel (SL10). The panel will be moderated by Benjamin Shepherd of Atelier Ten. Other panelists will include Steven Guttmann of Guttmann & Blaevoet Consulting Engineers and Christina Vernon of the Cleveland Clinic.
