Robinson joins Open Space Council

Fellow(s): Tom Robinson

We are pleased to share that Tom Robinson will join the Open Space Council as Director of Conservation, Science, and Innovation. He will start February 16.

We set out looking for an experienced, strategic, collaborative, and engaging professional. And we are confident that we found that person.

Tom has worked in land conservation in the San Francisco Bay Area for sixteen years, starting with internships at the Council in 2000 and at the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District in 2001. As a conservation planner for the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District for the past thirteen years, Tom developed data, tools, and strategies that promote effective and efficient conservation of the county’s agriculture and natural resources.
