Sarah Kapnick on the changing snowpack in the Sierras

Sarah Kapnick, 2010 Fellow, PhD candidate in atmospheric and oceanic sciences at UCLA, was quoted recently in an article in Environmental Health Perspectives.  Sarah's research on the changing snowpack in the Sierra Nevada mountains and its potential effect on water supply and reservoir capacity contributed to the article which focused on the world's changing ice cover.
