About Jason's Work
Jason Delborne joined the Genetic Engineering and Society program and the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University in August 2013. His work draws primarily from STS (science and technology studies) with emphases in public engagement, the governance of emerging technologies, and science and technology policy. He conducts research on highly politicized scientific controversies including biofuels, agricultural biotechnology, nanotechnology, and toxic pollution. His current research focuses on genetically modified trees and emerging techniques of genetic engineering.
