About Jenny's Work
Jenny has been a recycling practitioner, researcher, teacher, and activist since 1985. She has implemented curbside recycling programs in two California cities, has been the lead organizer for several recycling conferences, and has spoken and published widely. Her graduate research at Clark, and at U.C. Berkeley's Energy and Resources Group, focused on the relationship between the primary aluminum and hydroelectric industries, and their environmental and social effects. She served as the Executive director of the Massachusetts Recycling Coalition. After working as a consultant to the Container Recycling Institute for a year and a half, Jenny recently joined the CRI staff thanks to a 3-year Environmental Leadership Grant from the Switzer Foundation.
