About Kathleen's Work

After three years working in Science and Stewardship with the Vermont chapter of the Nature Conservancy, she left environmental work to pursue her other love, music. Together with her husband, Kathleen started a small company called Vermont Violins which services musicians and students in Vermont. Their business has done very well and they now have three locations servicing an ever-growing client base throughout New England and beyond. She has a little boy named Ceile and lives happily on Camel's Hump in Central Vermont. She also notes that her Switzer mentor's wife is a fine violinist and they have continued their friendship begun in the days that she worked with TNC.
