About Kathleen's Work
Kathleen is an Assistant Specialist and Assistant Professor in the Entomology Dept. at University of Arizona. She studies the ecology of Aedes aegypti, the mosquito vector of dengue fever, in southern Arizona and northern Sonora, Mexico. She is also runs Insect Discovery, a service-learning program for undergraduates to teach to science to elementary school students (using insects, of course)!
