About Mary's Work
Mary is an associate attorney with Earthjustice. She works in the organization's Midwest Regional Office in Chicago. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Mary clerked for Judge Paez in the Ninth Circuit and Judge Ellison in the Southern District of Texas. She has a J.D. from Stanford Law, an M.S. in environment and resources from Stanford University, and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. While at Stanford and during a summer with California Rural Legal Assistance, Mary studied and worked on safe drinking water issues in the Salinas and Central Valleys, where the close ties between workers’ rights, immigration, and public health issues reaffirmed her commitment to environmental justice.
