About Megan's Work
Megan Brachtl is a Presidential Management Fellow working on fuels issues for the Office of Transportation and Air Quality at EPA headquarters in Washington, DC. She received her masters degrees from Tufts University in 2005, combining studies in environmental and water resources engineering with international environmental policy and development. For her master's thesis, Megan studied polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in ambient air and from mobile sources in Quito, Ecuador. Megan received her BS in civil and environmental engineering at Northeastern University, Boston. She served in the Peace Corps in Côte d'Ivoire from 1998 to 2000, where she worked on urban environmental problems.
