About Molly's Work

Molly Greene is an interdisciplinary scholar and artist whose work explores nature, embodiment, memory, landscape iconography and technology through printmaking, painting, fiber arts, and writing. She is currently a doctoral student in the American Studies Program at Yale University where she works in the fields of science and technology studies, feminist and queer theory, environmental history, and material and visual culture studies. She additionally makes land-based performance and visual art with the Royal Frog Ballet and teaches printmaking at the Governor’s Institutes on the Arts in Vermont. Her work has been supported by major grants from the Switzer Foundation, the Hixon Center for Urban Ecology and the Yale Agrarian Studies Program. Prior to graduate school Molly has worn many hats including that of a carpenter, farmer, landscape designer, illustrator, teacher, antique appraiser, circus troupe member, and graphic designer.
