Americans Who Tell The Truth
I spent the afternoon of September 11 taking a drive up the Maine coast to Winter Harbor, a small town near the home of painter Robert Shetterly. The local arts and community center had on display eighteen of Shetterly's portraits of contempoary american leaders who inspired him since 9.11 and whose stories are indeed timeless. The portraits are magnificent and a welcome homage to a positive vision for equity and an ecological world view. Take a look. This article about Americans Who Tell The Truth has links to all the portraits and bios of the subjects and information on how to get the book of paintings and the inspring stories of these great leaders. Many if not all the names will be known to you. I hope you find these inspiring as well.
