California Spring Retreat 2011 - Central Valley

This year's Switzer Fellows' California Spring Retreat was held in the Central Valley, where participants learned about the complex ecological and environmental justice issues facing agricultural communities and the San Joaquin River.  Special thanks to our Switzer Fellows planning team for developing the agenda for this retreat, particularly Mark Tompkins, Carolina Balazs, Chris Bacon and Peter Vorster!
