About Paige's Work
Paige Weber is currently a Ph.D. student in environmental economics at Yale University. Her research focuses on applied work in energy and electricity markets, industrial organization, carbon regulation, and sustainable transportation. Paige also has experience in the government, private, and non-profit sectors. In 2016 she was a Staff Economist for the President's Council of Economic Advisers. Prior to graduate school, Paige worked on implementation of California’s renewable portfolio standards and cap-and-trade program for greenhouse gases at the utility company Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) in San Francisco. Paige has also been a research intern at Redefining Progress in Oakland, CA, Resources for the Future in Washington, DC, the World Resources Institute EMBARQ in Bangalore, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston. She holds a B.A. in both Political Economy of Industrialized Societies and Music from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Environmental Science (MESc) from Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
