About Robert's Work
Robert J. Klee was previously the Chief of Staff of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Prior to that, he was an appellate and general litigator at a regional law firm in New Haven, Connecticut. Prior to that, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Barrington D. Parker on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and a law clerk for the Honorable Mark R. Kravitz on the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Rob received his J.D. from the Yale Law School, and his Ph.D. from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, focusing on industrial ecology and environmental law and policy. His Ph.D. dissertation investigated the measurement of sustainability through materials flow analysis of industrial systems in Antarctica. Rob also holds a Master's degree from Yale University in environmental studies and industrial environmental management, and an A.B. in geology from Princeton University.
