About Shannon's Work

I lead the Guidehouse team in Europe charged with reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across global operations and supply chains. We approach decarbonization with a deep understanding of the energy industry, sustainability practices and infrastructure investment.

Challenges we love? Helping teams get board-level support for large-scale investment towards a net-zero ambition across global operations and supply chains (covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions). Then, launching the initiatives, investment vehicles and governance required to realize measurable, year-over-year emissions reductions from those investments.

Our team? Engineers, scientists, business professionals, economists, investors and policy makers dedicating our careers to creating financially viable environmental solutions to enable large-scale, climate-friendly investment and growth. We are actively involved in developing key protocols, like Science Based Targets (SBT), and running global initiatives, like the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Protocols (PCAF).

Me? 25+ years in clean energy, innovation and sustainability advising corporates, governments, energy providers and investors. I love:

  • Partnering with clients to design and implement new businesses, programs and technologies for positive environmental impact.
  • Building and managing high-performing teams. I have experience across multiple geographies-covering Europe, North America, Middle East, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
  • Using my interdisciplinary training (engineering (BSME), policy (MA) and business (MBA)) to have impact and
  • Working with people who want to build a legacy of positive environmental impact through responsible business and innovation for the next generation.
