About Sherry's Work

Sherry earned a in joint Master's degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Management, specializing in international economic development and pollution prevention. Immediately after graduating from Yale, she worked with the Resources Development Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit organization,as an Energy Program Associate. She directed RDF's International Energy Efficiency Fellowship and Training Program which provided energy managers from developing and transitional countries long-term, on-the-job training in demand-side management (DSM) at US utility companies. She also worked at the United National Development Programme as a Energy Program Manager and at the New York City Independent Budget Office. Since 2001, Sherry has been working at the Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison). Con Edison supplies New York City and Westchester County with electric, gas and steam. She currently manages Con Edison's Electric Vehicles Programs. Sherry has a B.S with Honors from Cornell University, where she majored in Environmental Technology.
