About Susan's Work
While earning first a Master's in Water Resource Engineering, then an Engineer's Degree in Applied Hydrogeology, Susan's research focused on computer modeling of groundwater flow and contaminant transport. After completing her graduate studies, she joined Aqua Terra Consultants, a small consulting firm which specializes in environmental modeling as project manager. After five years, she resigned in order to work a more flexible schedule as an independent consultant. Eventually, Susan plans to become more involved in both domestic and international environmental policy issues. She is a member of the American Geophysical Union and the Association of Women Geoscientists.
