About Walter's Work
Walter left nine years of work as an environmental educator to study in the Field Naturalist Program at the University of Vermont. For his Master's project, he evaluated forest inventory techniques as a part of a sustainable forest management demonstration project in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Walter is currently working as an environmental consultant specializing in natural resource inventory, integrated forest planning, and educational outreach. His clients include the University of Vermont, Shelburne Farms and The Conservation Fund.
