Luers co-edits special issue on AI and climate change

Amy Luers co-edited a special issue in IEEE Technology and Society about AI and climate change. The issue was born out of a CIFAR research workshop discussing “the opportunities and challenges for leveraging AI to accelerate progress on climate change and sustainability more broadly”, Amy shared. The articles are written by workshop participants and collaborators on topics such as: 

• Levers for transformation 
• Ethics and Humanism 
• Governance and standards
• Carbon emissions
