Shi launches Adaptive Land Lab at Cornell
Linda Shi has launched the Adaptive Land Lab at Cornell College of Architecture, Art and Planning. The Adaptive Land Lab aims to reveal how current institutions contribute to unjust and unsustainable adaptation to enable policy reforms that redress underlying causes of societal vulnerability to climate change.
Its research encompasses the following thematic areas: revealing and redressing injustices in climate adaptation, regional governance of climate adaptation, fiscal policy and challenges under climate change, and property rights and the power of collective land tenure.
